TPOP Privacy Policy

TPOP respects your privacy and is committed to handling personal information responsibly and transparently.

This Privacy Policy explains how TPOP SPÓŁKA Z OGRANICZONĄ ODPOWIEDZIALNOŚCIĄ (“TPOP”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) may collect, use, store, and otherwise process information when you use the TPOP mobile application, website, and related services.

1. Information We May Process

Depending on how you use TPOP, we may process information such as:

  • Account information, including your name, username, nickname, email address, profile information, and account identifiers.

  • Photos and other content created, uploaded, received, or shared through TPOP.

  • Messages and information exchanged during TPOP sessions.

  • Location information when needed for features such as nearby matching, navigation, and session coordination.

  • Information relating to TPOP sessions, credits, transactions, preferences, and interactions with other users.

  • Technical information reasonably required to operate, maintain, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the service.

We process information only where reasonably necessary to provide TPOP, operate its features, protect users and the service, comply with applicable law, and improve the product.

2. How TPOP Handles Photos

TPOP is designed so users can receive photos without handing their personal device to another person.

Photos taken as part of a TPOP session are intended for the recipient of that session.

Photos are not kept in the photographer’s personal TPOP gallery. Instead, they are made available to the recipient through the recipient’s private TPOP gallery, where they can be accessed and downloaded later.

This allows users to keep access to their photos even after the session has ended, in a similar way to how content may remain available within other online communication and media services.

TPOP does not intentionally add the session location to photos stored in the recipient’s TPOP gallery.

Photos may remain available in the recipient’s gallery so that the recipient can access and download them later. Photos and related data may be removed when deleted by the user, when an account is deleted, where removal is required by law, or where reasonably necessary for the operation of the service.

3. Location Information

TPOP may process location information to provide location-based features, including:

  • finding nearby users;

  • matching users for photo sessions;

  • helping participants navigate toward one another;

  • displaying location-based information;

  • coordinating active sessions;

  • improving location-based features.

Location information used for these purposes is processed separately from the recipient’s stored photo gallery.

TPOP does not sell users’ precise location information.

4. How We Use Information

We may use information to:

  • provide and maintain TPOP;

  • create and manage user accounts;

  • enable photo sessions;

  • deliver photos to recipients;

  • provide access to private TPOP galleries;

  • enable real-time communication;

  • operate matching and navigation features;

  • manage credits, transactions, and related functionality;

  • provide customer support;

  • prevent fraud, abuse, misuse, and security threats;

  • diagnose technical issues;

  • improve features, reliability, and user experience;

  • comply with applicable laws and legal obligations;

  • protect the rights, safety, and property of TPOP, our users, and others.

5. Sharing of Information

TPOP does not sell users’ personal photos or personal information.

Information may be shared where reasonably necessary to:

  • provide functionality requested by the user;

  • allow participants in the same TPOP session to interact;

  • deliver photos and session-related content;

  • work with infrastructure, hosting, communication, analytics, security, payment, or other service providers that support TPOP;

  • comply with applicable law, court orders, or lawful requests;

  • investigate fraud, security issues, misuse, or violations of our terms;

  • protect TPOP, our users, and others;

  • support a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, or similar corporate transaction, subject to applicable legal requirements.

Where service providers process information on our behalf, they are expected to handle it in accordance with applicable data protection requirements.

6. Storage and Retention

Different types of information may be retained for different periods depending on how the service is used and why the information is required.

Photos may remain available in the recipient’s private TPOP gallery so the recipient can access and download them later.

Other information may be retained where reasonably necessary to:

  • operate and maintain the service;

  • maintain user accounts;

  • support galleries and session functionality;

  • prevent fraud or misuse;

  • resolve disputes;

  • comply with legal obligations;

  • enforce our agreements.

Where appropriate, information may be deleted, anonymized, or otherwise removed when it is no longer reasonably required.

7. Security

TPOP takes technical and organizational steps intended to protect personal information and continuously reviews its systems as the service develops.

Access to stored information may occur where reasonably necessary to operate, maintain, support, secure, troubleshoot, or comply with legal requirements relating to the TPOP service.

No internet-based service, network, or method of electronic storage can guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights relating to your personal information, including the right to:

  • request access to your personal information;

  • request correction of inaccurate information;

  • request deletion of certain personal information;

  • object to or restrict certain processing;

  • withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;

  • request portability of certain information;

  • lodge a complaint with an appropriate data protection authority.

Users may also request deletion of their TPOP account and associated personal data through the methods made available by TPOP.

Certain information may still be retained where permitted or required by law.

9. European Users and GDPR

Where the General Data Protection Regulation applies, TPOP processes personal data on one or more lawful bases depending on the circumstances, including:

  • performance of a contract with the user;

  • the user’s consent;

  • compliance with legal obligations;

  • TPOP’s legitimate interests, where those interests are not overridden by the user’s rights.

Legitimate interests may include operating and improving the service, preventing fraud and abuse, securing the platform, providing support, and maintaining the functionality of TPOP.

10. International Data Processing

TPOP may use technology, infrastructure, and service providers located in different countries.

Where required by applicable law, appropriate safeguards may be used when personal data is transferred between jurisdictions.

11. Third-Party Services

TPOP may rely on third-party services to operate parts of the platform.

These may include infrastructure, hosting, communication, mapping, analytics, payment, security, and other technology providers.

Where third parties act independently from TPOP, their handling of information may also be governed by their own privacy policies.

12. Children

TPOP should only be used in accordance with applicable laws relating to children and minors.

Where parental or guardian consent is required by applicable law, such consent must be obtained before using the service.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to TPOP, its features, technology, business practices, or applicable legal requirements.

The current version will be made available on our website together with the date of the latest update.
